Questions about pricing

The ones we actually get.

What's the difference between Launch and Storefront? +
Launch is a single custom-designed page. Storefront is up to five pages OR a rich single page with three custom sections (events calendar, vendor list, menu, gallery — that kind of thing), plus a booking or ordering integration, email signup, image gallery, and local SEO setup. If your shop has more than one main thing going on — multiple service types, regular events, an online order or booking system — Storefront is what fits. If you just need a digital business card that says "we exist, here's how to reach us," Launch is fine.
How do I know which tier I actually need? +
You don't have to. Send us a note about your shop, we'll build a free mockup, and on that mockup we'll recommend a tier. Most prospects we mockup land in Storefront — that's the sweet spot for the brick-and-mortar shops we work with. If we look at your shop and think Launch is genuinely all you need, we'll tell you. We're not going to upsell you into a tier that doesn't earn its keep.
Why is the early-bird price so much lower than standard? +
We're building our Southeast portfolio and pricing competitively while we do that lets us fill the calendar fast. The work is the same — we're just willing to take less margin per build right now in exchange for the kind of variety in our portfolio that makes the next round easier to sell. Once we're booked, the price goes up to the standard rate shown struck-through above each tier. If you're reading this and the early-bird is still active, you're getting in early.
What if I outgrow Launch and need to upgrade? +
You email us. We quote the upgrade as a custom job — usually the difference between the two tier prices plus a small "we're reopening this build" fee. Easier to start at the right tier from the beginning, but the upgrade path exists. For Storefront → Signature additions, same idea.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace? +
You can, and for some shops they're fine. The trade-off is your time — 20–40 hours to learn the editor, write the copy, pick the photos — and a result that tends to look like the template it started as. What $499 buys you with us is those Saturdays back and a site that doesn't look like everyone else's. Full answer in the FAQ.
Are there hidden fees? +
No. The tier price is what you pay to launch. Year 1 Annual Care is included free. After year one, Annual Care continues at $99/yr (Standard) or $249/yr (Plus) — your choice. Addons are at the published prices in the section above. If you want something we haven't priced, we'll quote it before any work starts and you'll see the number on paper.
Can I cancel Annual Care later? +
Yes, anytime, from your customer portal — billing stops immediately. The site, content, and design files stay yours. Your domain stops being renewed by us (that's part of what Annual Care covers) — you can either re-subscribe before the renewal date or have us transfer the domain to your own registrar account at no exit fee.
